World’s Best Business Class Lounge 2024 — Skytrax
The Al Mourjan Business Lounge – The Garden at Hamad International Airport in Doha was developed in collaboration with Studio Matteo Nunziati as part of the airport’s new architectural expansion surrounding The Orchard. Recognized as the World’s Best Business Class Lounge 2024 by Skytrax, the project introduces a new concept of hospitality within the airport environment.
Spanning 7,390 sqm, the lounge overlooks the lush tropical landscape of The Orchard, the airport’s indoor garden. Natural light, greenery, and carefully composed interiors create a calm and immersive environment where travelers can work, relax, or spend time before departure
The material palette combines refined finishes and custom-designed furnishings. Emperador Dark marble defines the architectural language of the space, while collaborations with Italian brands including Molteni&C, Florim, Lualdi, and iGuzzini contributed bespoke elements that enhance the spatial experience.
